4-H Youth Development

Tori Booker, SW District Representative

Tori Booker of Jackson County is serving as a Southwest District Representative to the State Leadership Council. Her main project area is Shooting Sports and her discipline of choice is Shotgun.

“Through 4-H,” Booker said, “I am able to compete in various contests. I compete in trap, skeet and sporting clays. Skeet is my favorite by far, I practice it weekly.”

Booker said she has had the opportunity to teach gun safety workshops at various events like Cloverbud Day.

“My favorite 4-H memory is being inducted as a Key Club member,” said Booker. “I worked very hard to achieve this goal and it showed me that hard work truly pays off and inspired me to try harder.”

When she is not practicing her shooting, Booker is busy with her youth group in Altus or can be found at the gym.

“I appreciate the opportunities that 4-H has provided me,” said Booker. “I hope to continue to work to make 4-H visible throughout the state.”
