As of September 1, 2018 ALL adult volunteers who will be in contact with youth one-on-one without the immediate supervision of a certified 4-H volunteer(s) or Extension Employee must have a Background Check by our third-party agency. This includes but is not limited to: Club/Cloverbud/Project/Activity Leaders and/or General Club Volunteer, chaperones and adults transporting youth.
A New Volunteer, a Volunteer with break in service (inactive enrollment in 4HOnline), and a Veteran Volunteer up for re-certification will have a Background Check.
Returning Volunteer
- Complete enrollment online at 4-H Online or download Volunteer Enrollment Packet [click here]. Please follow the county's procedures for re-enrolling. Some counties do not accept paper enrollment.
