4-H Project Focus:

  • Apparel Design & Construction
  • Interior Design & Construction
  • Hobbies/Textiles Design & Construction

Who can participate?

4-H member who are in grades 7-12. Grade as of Sept. 1, 2023. Limited to 20 participants.

  • Deadline May 10, 2024
  • Health Form must be completed/updated in ZSuite at the time of registration.
  • The family is responsible for chaperoning and housing the 4-H member outside of class time

Experiences

  • Discover how science, technology, engineering, art and math are part of fashion and interior design.
  • Gain skills needed in designing and constructing an fashion and interior design project which are sustainable, functional, and fashionable.
  • Understand the application of the Elements and Principles of Design as they apply to interior design projects
  • Learn to coordinate construction mediums using principles of design
  • Explore careers in the interior design industry
