4-H Science Night

Join us on an Out of this World adventure at the Science Museum Oklahoma!  4-H’ers can sleep under a giant dinosaur, by a rocket engine or in an oversize mouth. Participants will have the chance to explore the Science Museum, and attend Planetarium and Science Live! Shows.  A special feature of Science Overnights is a selection of hands-on activities and experiments that fit with the theme of the evening.  These activities include:

  • Get Hands-on with real Meteorites and NASA artifacts
  • Build and test a lunar lander
  • Build and launch rockets 
  • Build an eclipse viewer
  • Participated in a Moon phases activity
  • Make nebula art
  • Explore extreme temperatures and pressures
  • And More!

All participants (youth and chaperones) must have a copy of their current Youth Participation Form or Adult Medical Form.

 

Registration and Information

Who can attend?

This event is open to everyone, 4-H members are welcome to invite friends and family members.  Chaperones are not provided – youth must attend with a parent/guardian and/or 4-H Certified Volunteer.
