Candidates

Madison Nickels (President): Madison Nickels is a 17 year old member of the Enid 4-H club in Garfield County.  She has been a 4-Her for 8 years and her main project areas are: Fabrics and Fashions, Public Speaking and Citizenship.  For fun, Madison likes to play tennis.  She is most proud of winning the Noble McIntyre award, being named Garfield County Hall of Fame, being a Level 1 and Level 2 State project winner, and being selected as a State Ambassador.

Abby Logan (President): Abby Logan has been a part of Payne County's Heritage 4-H for eight years. Throughout fer 4-H career, her projects in Breads and Food Science have taught her numerous skills and qualities that she will use throughout her life, one being the ability to take risks and use mistakes as learning opportunities. Abby's favorite way to spend time is working with horses teaching young riders about caring for their horse. By challenging herself, she had the opportunity to attend National 4-H Congress. 4-H has helped her realize how important it is to pursue your dreams.

Colton Tripp (Vice President): Colton Tripp has been a member of the OK-Okies 4-H club for seven years.  He currently serves as the OK-Okies President, the Kay County 4-H President, and an Oklahoma 4-H State Ambassador.  At just 17 years old, he has reached more than 1,900 youth and community members through workshops and demonstrations.  He has started numerous community service projects within his county that have reached every district of Oklahoma 4-H.  "The project I am most proud of is my community service project, Comfort Bags, as it helps out my community and I am extremely grateful for the response from my community."

Murphy Peterson (Secretary): During Murphy's 9 years spent in 4-H, she has participated greatly in the Public Speaking and Performing Arts project areas.  She has served in leadership roles from club level to national level.  She preformed in 4-H has Talent and State Vocal Contest at the 100th Roundup where she placed 2nd.  She also received 1st place in both District and State Speech contests.  She says that her favorite memory was her very first Roundup where she decided she wanted to be a leader in Oklahoma 4-H.

Brance Barnett (Reporter): Brance Barnett is an 8 year member of Washita County 4-H.  I currently serve as President of the Washita County Teen Leaders.  I have served my local club of Burns Flat Dill City as Reporter, Secretary and President.  I enjoy working with leather and that hobby has turned into the basis of my project area.  I was named the winner in the Agriculture and Natural Resources -AOP in 2020 and Advanced Fabric and Fashions in 2021.  Leadership opportunities at the local, county, and state level are the highlights of my 4-H experiences.  State Leadership Team 2021-2022 has been an epic experience for me.

Jenessa Dugger (Reporter): Jenessa Dugger is an eight year 4-H member from Pittsburg County, Oklahoma. She is 16 years old and going into her senior year at Lakewood Christian School. Her project areas include public speaking and performing arts. Jenessa has served on the local, county and state levels in many different leadership positions. She has a strong passion for 4-H and making sure everyone has a voice! Her main goal this year if elected is to connect with Oklahoma 4-H and help all members tell their story!

Haven Hinton (Recreation Leader): My name is Haven Hinton. I am 18 years old and have been active in 4-H for 9 years. I belong to the Mill Creek Senior 4-H Club in Johnston county. I like to cook, play piano,  and teach at my church. My project areas are Food Science and Health and Fitness. I am most proud of becoming a state officer and being inducted into the Johnston County Hall of Fame.

Shelby Kelsey (Recreation Leader): Shelby Kelsey is an 8 year 4-H member from Grady County.  She was the 2021 State Winner in Achievement and her main projects include Family and Consumer Sciences, Leadership and Citizenship.  Shelby currently serves as the West District South Region Reporter, Grady County as Vice President and is a newly selected State 4-H Ambassador.  Serving others and having fun are just 2 of the reasons Shelby chose to run for State 4-H Recreation Leader.

Summer Prince (Recreation Leader): Hello, my name is Summer Prince. I have been a member of the Garber 4-H Club in Garfield County for 8 years. I will be a junior at Garber High School. My main 4-H projects are swine, fabric and fashions, veterinary science, leadership, and citizenship. I enjoy showing pigs, playing softball, 4-H, and being with my family on our farm. Some of my achievements I am most proud of is winning Level 1 record book in Swine, attending National 4-H Conference, and winning Champion Chester and Landrace Gilts and Reserve Champion Poland Barrow at Oklahoma Youth Expo.

Bridger Arrington (Northeast District Representative): My name is Bridger Arrington, I am 15, and I have been in the Mulhall-Orlando 4-H club in Logan County for seven years.  I joined 4-H to show sheep, but now I am involved in many other livestock and leadership projects.  Some of my favorite achievement include running for and winning NE District Secretary and winning breed champion haired sheep at OYE.

Katrel Carpenter (Northeast District Representative): My name is Katrel Carpenter and I am a member of the Perkins 4-H Club in Payne County. I am 15 years old and have been in 4-H for 6 years and I've loved every minute of it! My main projects include poultry, wildlife, beef, and food science. One of my favorite hobbies is art. I've been doing a lot of clay sculpting lately! I love to spend time with animals by training and taking care of them. One of my greatest achievements was being awarded the Payne County 4-H Tarpey Hall of Fame Awards. I was so honored!

McKayla Hunt (Northeast District Representative): My name is McKayla Hunt, I am 17 years old, I have been in 4-H for 8 years in Lincoln County.  My hobbies and project areas include Agriculture and Beef.  I love getting to spend time with the younger generation and help them start their leadership role.  My favorite achievement is making Hall of Fame in my county.

Isaac Ochsner (Northeast District Representative): My name is Issac Ochsner, I'm a 17 year-old Jr., and have been in 4-H for over eight years. I'm from Payne County, and a member of Heritage 4-H Club in Stillwater. My project areas are Leadership, STEM, Horticulture, and Goats. In all of which I have received both gold medals, and best project in the county, which is one of my proudest achievements. In my free time you will either find me playing my guitar, or outdoors doing things like Hunting, Fishing, Camping, Hiking, or even just hanging out with friends.

Samuel Patterson (Northeast District Representative): I'm Samuel Patterson.  I am 15 years of age and am from the Adair County 4-H Club.  I started 4-H as a Cloverbud and have been an active 4-H youth for 8 years now.  My primary project is dairy goats but I do enjoy STEM and computer science related projects as well.  In my free time I collect coins and play card and board games.  I have received the National Presidential Community Service award and scholarships on a national scale.

Clarissa Smith (Northeast District Representative): Clarissa Smith, I am 17 years old I am from Okfuskee County and a member of Mason 4-H Club. My hobbies are showing Dairy Goats, Playing Sports, and Academic Team. My main project is Dairy Goats, Leadership, Citizenship, and Public Speaking. I am most proud of winning the level one Dairy project book, I am also proud of getting 5th place at the National ADGA Skill-a-Thon Contest.

Alexandraya Brown (West District Representative): Showing rabbits is what started Alexandraya Brown in the 4-H program, but as she developed skills and expanded her project work, she now has a wide variety of 4-H projects: Horse, Leadership, Citizenship, Shooting Sports, Science and Technology and Photography. Alexandraya is a 6 year 4-H member of the Grady County 4-H program.  She is a member of the Grady County Shooting Sports Club and currently serves as the Grady County 4-H Secretary.  In her spare time, Alexandraya likes to do woodworking, bead work, metal stamping, and all types of arts and crafts.

Kynleigh Henson (West District Representative): Kynleigh Henson from Cotton County is a 17 year old, 8th year 4-H member.  I attend Walters After School program.  My 4-H projects are Ag Literacy and Vet Science.  I also enjoy playing softball, basketball, cheer, and being around friends.  My most proud achievement is being the Cotton County Miss United States Agriculture.

Kaylee Junghanns (West District Representative): Hello my name is Kaylee Junghanns.  I am 15 years old and have been a member of the Medford 4-H club in Grant County for the past 6 years.  My main project areas include livestock, community service and leadership.  A few of my hobbies are singing and playing guitar, crafting, and shopping.  My greatest 4-H achievement thus far is recently being selected to serve as a State 4-H Ambassador.

Dylan Simon (West District Representative): Dylan Simon from Cotton County.  I am 18 years old.  I have been in 4-H for 9 years with the Walters Afterschool program.  I was name as the first Oklahoma 4-H Photography Innovator.  In my free time I enjoy taking photos and hanging out with friends.

Avagrace Spencer (Southeast District Representative): My name is Avagrace Spencer and I've been in 4-H for the past 5 years.  I am President in Oklahoma County and I'm a part of the Ninja Munkees FRC Team.  However, my main project area is citizenship.  I also spend a lot of time training my dogs, one of which races in competitions.  Some things I enjoy doing in my free time are volunteering, roller skating and yoga.  I feel most proud when I am helping others to learn and grow.

Violet Spencer (Southeast District Representative): My name is Violet Robin Spencer.  I was born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and I am 16 years old.  I am Biracial, I have four amazing siblings, and I am a military kid.  I am a hard-core theater kid!  I love biking, swimming and I love family time.  I also have four dogs and I enjoy training, playing and loving on them.  I've been a part of 4-H for about 5 and a half years now.  My project areas include: leadership, childcare and dogs.

Kayleigh Post (Southeast District Representative): My name is Kayleigh Post.  I am 16 and I am from Pittsburg County.  I am a member of the Haileyville 4-H Club.  Some of the things I enjoy doing are playing softball, sewing and spending time with my family.  My project areas include Fabrics and Fashions and Horse.  Some of the achievements I am most proud of are being a two-time state record book finalist in Fabric and Fashions, being a county ambassador and winning high point in speed events at the Southeast District Horse Show.

Maggie Gregory (Southeast District Representative): My name is Maggie Gregory.  I am currently 16 years old and have been a member of Pontotoc County 4-H and the Pontotoc County Homeschool 4-H Club for 8 years.  My project areas are Poultry, Agriculture, Leadership, and Public Speaking.  A few of my hobbies include raising poultry, raising Longhorn cattle, riding and showing horses, and being an advocate for The Livestock Conservancy.  Some of my proudest 4-H achievements are winning my level one project area AOP Small Animals - Poultry, being a Citizenship Washington Focus delegate and being inducted into the Oklahoma 4-H Key Club.

Andrew Triplitt (Southeast District Representative): My name is Andrew Triplitt and I am currently sixteen.  I have been in 4-H for seven years now in McClain County 4-H at the Blanchard Club.  I currently have cattle as my main project area.  I also love all the 4-H offers like the shotgun shooting sports and archery.  I also enjoy playing video games and getting to hang out with my friends.
