Service Learning
Service Learning in Community-Based Organizations is a guide developed by the Search Institute and Learn and Serve Clearinghouse. Service-Learning intentionally integrates and emphasizes both service and learning. Youth engaged in service-learning not only provide direct service to the community, but also learn and grow in their knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Whether new to service-learning or have been doing it for years, this guide gives you and your organization the tips, tools, and techniques you need to start making a positive difference in many people’s lives by providing high-quality opportunities for youth to serve and learn.
Service Learning Action Plan (SLAP) guide will assist the club/committee, youth and adults in developing life skills in planning and conducting leadership and citizenship project.

- Lesson 5: Cultural Awareness
The Take A Stand! Curriculum was developed by Texas AgriLife Extension Service in partnership with the Texas Rural Mediation Services.
