The Oklahoma Association of Extension 4-H Youth Development Professionals (OAE4-HYDP) is the state’s professional organization for those dedicated to promoting, strengthening, enhancing and advocating for the 4-H youth development profession.
OAE4-HYDP was organized in May 1975 as the Oklahoma Association of Extension 4-H Agents (OAE4-HA). Membership in OAE4-HYDP is a vital investment in your professional and personal development. OAE4-HYDP is the Oklahoma affiliate of NAE4-HYDP.

Committees are the lifeblood of the Association and the teams carry out the work important to our mission. Each member is encouraged to be engaged in at least one committee and more if they wish. Committee chairs are the link between the National Association of Extension 4-H Youth Development Professionals and our State. They are encouraged to participate in the national committee associated with the state committee.
