Oklahoma Association Of Extension 4-H Agents

The Oklahoma Association of Extension 4-H Agents (OAE4-HA) is the state’s professional organization for those dedicated to promoting, strengthening, enhancing and advocating for the 4-H youth development profession. OAE4-HA was organized in May 1975. Membership in OAE4-HA is a vital investment in your professional and personal development.

Committees are the lifeblood of the Association and the  teams carry out the work important to our mission.  Each member is encouraged to be engaged in at least one committee and more if they wish.  Committee chairs are the link between the National Association of Extension 4-H Agents and our State.  They are encouraged to participate in the National committee associated with the state committee.

NEW!!! 2018 Conference Registration

Conference early bird registration is due by July 12 to the Woodward County Extension Office.  Registration includes Wednesday pre-conference tour and picnic, Thursday lunch and dinner, snacks, speaker, and more for $75.  After July 12, add $10 late fee.  Day rates are also available.

Apply for Awards by March 1, 2018!

Awards information is now available!  Oklahoma specific awards and Service awards are to be submitted to Leslie Lewis in a PDF via email.  All other awards are to be submitted according to the guidelines through the Awards Portal Website.  All applications are due March 1 by Midnight Central Time.  Form more information, contact Leslie Lewis.

Annual Membership Dues

Dues are collected at the OAE4-HA annual conference for the coming year.  Dues may be submitted after the conference until mid-October.  This has been done to spread out payments for professional association dues for those who join more than one association. Dues can, however, be paid any time during the year.  Memberships submitted in the summer/fall go toward determining the number of DSA awards on the state and national level.

* Single membership -- $90
* Dual Membership with another association (AG or FCS) -- $80
* New members -- $70

Life Members

Association members who have been active and retire from Extension are eligible to become a life member of NAE4-HA. 
You must have been an active member the year prior to your retirement.  For OAE4-HA to pay for your lifetime membership
dues (a one time fee of 3 times the National Dues -- currently $240), the member/retiree must complete the Life Member
Request Form and submit that to the OAE4-HA Vice President.
