On The Road to Leadership is an annual out-of-state trip where we visit one of our neighboring states to learn about its industries, culture and 4-H program.
On the Road to Leadership 2027
For 2027, we’ll be traveling throughout Arkansas, with planned visits to Tennessee and Mississippi. The cost of the trip will be $900 for youth participants. As On the Road to Leadership offers different opportunities each year, we allow 4-H’ers who previously participated to return if space allows. We’re also seeking adults (volunteers or educators) who would like to serve as chaperones during the trip.
The trip transmittal form will be available in ZSuite under events, and it must be completed by county educators by Nov. 20. Counties will be invoiced for payment after all delegates and alternates have been confirmed. Rule of Law Scholarships have been approved, and applications are due Oct. 30.
Trip dates: Jan. 21-25, 2027
Rule of Law application for financial assistance due: Oct. 30
