For more than 100 years, Oklahoma State 4-H Roundup has been bringing together youth
from across the state each year to engage in educational workshops, competitions and
activities. Oklahoma State 4-H Roundup promotes personal growth, leadership and skill-building
for 4-H members.

Roundup Pizza Sales
Pizzas will be available for advanced ordering by clicking on the below links. Orders must be placed by June 1, 2025. Pizza pickup will be in University Commons West. Pizzas are $15 per pizza no matter the topping. Checks must be postmarked by June 5, 2025 for your pizzas to be ordered. **If you want to order pizza for both Wednesday and Thursday click on both links.

- Where do the participants stay?Participants will stay in University Commons, a traditional residence hall on the north side of OSU’s campus.
- How is safety ensured during the event?All 4-H’ers and adult volunteers wear identification badges for easy identification. Participants are encouraged to walk in groups, especially when moving between locations on campus. OSU police provide increased coverage during the Roundup to provide a safe environment.
- What is the current chaperone to youth ratio?The ratio is 1:10, in accordance with 4-H guidelines.
- How can a parent or guardian attend?Families and guests are welcome to attend the Honors Night assembly on Thursday, July 24. Otherwise, parents and guardians must be selected by their counties to serve as chaperones. All chaperones must be certified 4-H volunteers.
- Should participants bring spending money?All meals during Roundup are provided except for County Night Out. Check with your County Educator for those costs. Participants may want to bring cash for concessions, while vending machines typically accept both cash and cards.
- What should participants bring?Here’s a handy packing list:
- Comfortable shoes for walking around campus
- A water bottle
- Appropriate clothing for the summer weather
- Toiletries with hand soap
- Shower caddy or bag to take items to the bathroom
- Shower shoes (if desired)
- Twin XL bedding and pillow
- Towel and hand towel
- Umbrella or raincoat
- Spending money (optional)
- Sunscreen (especially for outdoor contests)
- Official Roundup shirt (provided to all participants, to be worn on the final day)
- What will participants eat during Roundup?All meals are provided except for County Night Out and during travel to and from Roundup. Participants can bring snacks to leave in their room. A concession stand operated by Collegiate 4-H will be available during both dances, and counties can order pizza in advance as part of a group order.
- How do participants get around campus?A map is provided on the back of the Roundup program. Participants are encouraged to walk in groups. Transportation is provided only for off-site contests and tours.
- Are participants limited on the contests they’re allowed to participate in?Due to scheduling limitations, 4-H members may compete in one contest per day. This helps ensure everyone gets a fair chance to participate and enjoy the event.

- Do delegates attend workshops?Delegates should attend workshops while they are not involved in competitions.
- How are workshops assigned?Workshops are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and have limited space. Descriptions of the workshops are available to help participants know what to expect.
- What is the activity for County Night Out?During County Night Out, we offer swimming at the Colvin Recreation Center pool, but space is limited, so registration is necessary and on a first-come, first-served basis. Counties are also free to find activities in the Stillwater area.
- Are there alternative activities for 4-H’ers who don’t want to attend the dances?Yes, we have alternative activities available each night. We’re also adding card and board games as options.
- How do I run for a state office or other leadership role?Applications for state council positions are due June 15 and are available on the 4-H website. State 4-H ambassador applications are available starting in December and due March 15 each year. For district positions, contact your district program specialist.
